Initially, the company started as a partnership firm in 1988, and attained joint stock company status in the year 1993. In April 1, 1993, the company was accorded the status of 'Star Trading House' by the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India. In April 1, 1994, they were accorded the status of 'Super Star Trading House' by the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India.
